Organic Sunchoke (Jerusalem Artichoke)

300g of organic Jerusalem Artichokes grown at the Little Farms market garden. 

Perfect for eating or planting the tubers to grow your own. 

If you are planting the tubers then you can either plant in autumn or keep them in the fridge in sand if you want to plant in spring. They don’t keep well out of the ground, so either plant them or store them properly until planting. They won’t sprout above ground until around October/November depending on climate - so don’t forget where you planted them! Mulch the area well so that weeds don’t take over before they grow. I covered the area where I planted the tubers with a layer of cardboard and straw and had no weed problems come spring. Happy growing!
