The veggie burgers so good you won't be missing meat at all!
Cook 3 small beetroot and 1 large kumara (boil), grate them, then combine in a bowl. You can use a food processor instead of grating.
Dice one onion, one chilli and half a bell pepper, add to the bowl.
Add 8 tablespoons of olive oil.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Then bake in the oven, on a tray with baking paper and olive oil for 20 minutes (10 minutes each side) at 200°c. Makes 10 - 12 patties.
Vegan and gluten free friendly.
• 2 tablespoons of garlic
• 1 tablespoon of ginger
4 mint leaves chopped finely
• 3/4 cup of gluten free bread crumbs
Mix together and create a pattie about an inch think. Then cook and serve in a bun with lettuce, tomato or your choice of fillings!
