I believe the key to good kale chips, is massaging the juices into the kale, making it softer and infusing it with flavour.
You will need:
1 bunch of curly kale
1 small chilli
Juice of 1 lime
2 TBS Olive oil
Sea salt & black pepper (to taste)
What to do:
Preheat your oven to 150°C.
Tear the kale into chip size pieces, slice the chilli finely, then combine these with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl. Mix thoroughly and massage the oil and juice into the kale leaves, using clean hands.
Spread kale out onto a baking tray lined with baking paper, and bake for around 15 minutes, or until crispy. Let the chips cool slightly, then enjoy!
