Ingredients that Make Your Heart Beet

Before we get started, let's gather all the ingredients that will make this beetroot pasta a true masterpiece:

  • 2-3 small-sized beetroot
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup of coconut cream
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 tsp of herbs
  • 1 can of Ceres Chickpeas 
  • 4 tbs of Ceres Tahini 
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Any leafy greens (kale, spinach, silverbeet, beetroot leaf)
  • Cheese & meat (optional)
  • Pasta - any kind you kind! 

Let's Get This Pasta Party Started!

Step 1: Roast beetroot and garlic

Step 2: Add beetroot, garlic, coconut cream, chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, herbs and lemon to the blend and blend until it is a soft smooth paste. If it is thick add more coconut cream until it is sauce consistency. 

Step 3: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your pasta and cook.

Step 4: Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and mix with the beetroot sauce.

Step 5: Add any protein you desire to this dish by cooking it separately and then adding it in when you mix in the sauce. You can also garish your pasta with cheese and fresh greens and edible flowers.
