Pasture Pride in Gladstone strive to produce the healthiest, freshest and tastiest eggs available. To achieve this, their chickens spend their days in lush green pasture, eating fresh grass, weeds and various grains, as well as insects and anything else they can forage. To ensure there is always good food available, the chickens graze a different pasture every 1-2 days.

As a part of a regenerative farming plan, the chickens
share the pastures with sheep and cattle in a rotation with organically grown crops. This rotation allows for greater soil fertility and also means fewer parasites to potentially affect the animals.

Pasture Pride rear their own girls from day old chicks, and they live out their lives in a happy and relaxed environment. Once the chickens are no longer laying, they are moved into the “Retirement Village” located in Pasture Pride’s orchard, where they have the important job of helping with pest control for the fruit trees.

Pasture Pride avoid any harsh chemical or non-organic additives and this is reflected in the golden goodness of their super fresh and delicious eggs.

The eggs are mixed sizes but a minimum of size 7.
