The Super Whānau
The Super Whānau is our largest box, we estimate it should feed your whole family (and maybe the neighbours too) for a week. Contains 11-13 different vegetables (with multiples of some).
These boxes are a Little Farms collaboration. We have teamed up with other organic and regenerative farms in the Wairarapa, in order to provide you with a box filled with variety all year round.
The staples in this box are:
Lettuce - The type of lettuce leaf changes with the seasons, but what doesn't change is how crunchy and fresh the salad is.
Kale/Silverbeet/Spinach bunch - Your weekly greens all bundled up together ready for sandwiches, juicing, lasagna and everything else! The mix varies seasonally - in Summer, we have more silverbeet and in Winter, more spinach.
Seasonal goodies: The rest of the box is a mix of seasonal vegetables and even fruits. In Summer, you can expect vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumber and zucchini and in Winter, vegetables such as cabbage, carrots and onions.
The pictures are an indication of what you can expect at different times of the year. The first picture is the Super Whānau box in Summer, the second picture is of the Super Whānau box in Spring, the third picture is the Super Whānau box in Winter, and the video is taken in Spring,
As our boxes are seasonal and local, we offer what is in season in the Wairarapa. This means we won't have your staple vegetables such as potatoes, carrots and tomatoes in the boxes every week, instead they will be in our boxes only when they are growing in the Wairarapa. We find this seasonality really beautiful as it makes you appreciate when things are in season and connects you to the seasonal flow of nature.
If you subscribe to this box there is a minimum of 3 weeks before you can pause, cancel or alter your subscription.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
If there is a particular vegetable you can not eat, please leave a note at checkout when you order and we will try our best to keep it out of your box.

For a farm to be truly sustainable it needs to be resilient, so that it can keep operating into the future. We find that with the change of seasons orders yo-yo up and down, making it hard for us to cover costs in the low times and meet demand in the ups. Therefore, it is really helpful for us, if you subscribe to our Farm Boxes. This helps us plan how much to grow and gives us some financial stability so that we can invest in our farm long term with the security that we will be able to sell the food we grow.
